Out Of The Ashes is very active within our community as well as in house programs and activities. We offer daily bible studies for those interested, for the renewing of the mind. We have motivational speakers that come to the facility to spend time and encourage the men and women. On evenings residents attend support meetings in the community, We also have in-house support meetings, and Friday evenings. Friday support meetings are open to the public for anyone struggling with substance abuse; men and women are welcome. Saturday we provide community service to the public where we are needed the most, We also are very involved with community service work and pick up trash along the road. Those with substance abuse issues are required to do an assessment including the elderly and disabled. The Grace of God Rescue Mission helps with feeding the residents. We have made connections and built relationships with employers that will hire the men and women coming though Out Of The Ashes.
Those with substance abuse issues are required to do an assessment with family preservation and follow the recommended outpatient treatment plan.
We have increased the number of people employed and are continuously removing barriers to employment. We are already having an impact on the drug and homelessness issues we are facing in our communities.
